Wedding and evening gown course

This course is suitable for intermediate seamstresses that are interested in starting their own business or joining the team of an existing wedding end evening gown design studio. The program is professional and comprehensive, and includes all the knowledge needed to start your own fashion design business. You will study: fashion illustration, styling, pattern making, draping, advanced sewing techniques (with focus on corsets), common evening gown designs and shapes, and more. During the course you will complete five different evening gowns, of your own design, from the concept stage to finish garment.

Draping Course

Draping course is suitable for seamstresses with experience in pattern making and advanced sewing. In this course you will learn how to use a mannequin to create your designs. The draping technique is common in haute couture, sculpting the fabric on the mannequin to create unusual shapes. By the end of the course each student will design and complete at least one original design, in addition to the designs learned.
